STEP does more than place candidates in jobs.

STEP works with employers and employees to achieve their skilled trades employment goals.  In British Columbia there are 140 Industry Training Authority recognized trades; STEP works with all of them.

STEP can help employers:

  • connect with job ready skilled workers
  • connect workers with training programs and opportunities
  • if no training program exists where there is demand, STEP can create a training program
  • mitigate risk to employers by continuing to work with workers and employers after placement is made
