STEP offers provincial service delivery

To address the operation of each initiative, STEP incorporates the management and operation of each program into our existing Provincial infrastructure.  By utilizing our provincial network, each program is provided with a virtual footprint across the entire Province to provide service on an as needed basis, when an opportunity arises that fits the criteria of program deliverables.  To ensure that the requirements of each program are met, STEP employs specialized Trades Employment Specialists for each program.

The incorporation of individual programs can be facilitated into our existing infrastructure without the high costs to set up additional administration functions within this infrastructure allowing for the true net funds to go into actual client assistance. By using our Provincial model we can offer extended coverage across the province to remote locations that cannot otherwise be accessed by many programs. Our TES’s travel to these remote locations on a regular basis and can facilitate one on one interventions with individuals that would not otherwise be reached by conventional program models.

Our TES’s are fully outfitted with remote access to our internal IT systems and fully trained on reporting requirements based on Federal, HRSDC and LMA funding requirements.  This means that through our process we can fully assess each individual and determine eligibility through the interview process to ensure that they meet the program requirements.  From the above programs which are mostly funded under the LMA agreement, we have provided reporting paperwork including LMA Intake forms for over 5000 individuals along with a percentage of Exit forms as the candidates complete the action plans and enter into employment or leave the program for various personal reasons.

Each of the individual program elements can be expanded incrementally with the addition of a variety of operating requirements, from the addition of a TES into a specific region, additional Innovation Funds to stimulate training agreements and individual barrier removal to facilitate training and or employment.
